The Everlasting Soul.( 33’’ X 50’’) Bhagvath Geetha.

The  Soul  is  considered  to  be  ever lasting with  no  end or  death, it is  the  body that  ends  at different  stages  and  the  soul takes in a new body to have its journey continued there after.
The soul changes the body depending on the kind of  karma (Work)  one  does  during  the stay in this planet earth. All soul according to Veda, are considered to  be  born  since  the  time  when  earth  was  born and being   passing  on  to  different  bodies  over  course  of time.
The way the soul changes the body are  compared  to  how  a  person   changes   ones  cloth which is also shown in  this  art.  Different creatures are  shown  awaiting  their turn  to incorporate the soul, which  eventually  would  be  grated  depending  on their Karma.
The Lotus flower shows the soul which is held by the lady (Physical Body) , and this soul passes on to next level on how the Person lives on this earth, with his or her good deeds, even through pure thoughts.

Golden Womb: (Rig Veda 10.121). ( 33’’ X 42’’).
The Creator in this hymn (Rig Veda 10.121) is called  Hiranyagarbha,  a  truly  pregnant  term. It is a compound noun, whose first element means Gold and whose  second  element  means Womb, seed, embryo or child.
This  hymn   becomes   prominent  in  the cosmogenic myth  of  the  golden  egg,  that  separates  the  two  shells becoming  the  sky  and  other shell being the earth, while the yolk being the Sun.

The  art  depicts  the  first  birth , before  anything  got  created   in   this  universe. The  color   white   is  used  to indicate  that there was not even color created  before  the earth, sky and sum was born.  The yolk  which is the Sun floats in the water, sea,  or  any  watery  substance  on earth and the  watery  Substance  in the  sky  in  the form  of clouds. This is similar  to a baby in  the  mothers’ womb which is placed  in a  jelly  type  substance  which  is  in the  form of water.

Agni ( Rig Veda and Yajurveda):(34’’ X 48’’)

The Fire God or also  called  the  Sun  God are expressed  in different   hyms  from  Rig  Veda and Yajur Veda .This Art on Agni has 24 Hyms (From Rig  and  Yajur Veda)  which  are converted into   art  form   with   the   help  of  modern thoughts.
The fire god is seen showering his blessing  on  the  devotee. Agni is not only a part of  every day  life, but  also  before birth (In the mothers  womb) and after  death. It is that warmness within the mothers womb that keeps the baby growing. And during the stay in this planet  earth man has his food cooked where  Agni  plays  a  part  of  daily  life and after  death  it is the fire / Agni that  releases the  soul   from  the   body   upon  cremation. When  the  body is burned ,  Agni  is  shown performing  a dance inviting  the soul  to the next  level . A  pot  which  cooks  daily food also   shows   different   living   beings   that survive  on  the  sun or the fire for their food indirectly .    Animals   like   peacock,    bull, tortoise,  and  cheetah  are some of the living creature   shown.  Fire  is also compared as a ferocious bull.
The pragmentation of frogs shows the cry for rain. There were hoemas or offerings through  the  fire  which  were  carried out in the  Vedic  times  for  the  rain.  Agni   is the one  that  connects  the  devotee and the  god, Agni  leads  the  prayer of the devotee  to the god  like  a  father  leading  a  way to his son holding  his  hand.  Agni  is  also compare to horses,   the  speed   with   which  it  spreads, compare  to  the  speed of  horses. Also Agni takes  the prayer of the devotee  in  a  chariot driven by horses. When fire catches a forest, it shaves of  the forest  like a barber  shaving of  ones  head.  The energy circle within one are  also circle of  fire that  keeps all chakras healthy. The fire  presence is  also explained in the clouds(Water) during lightning.
The parents for the fire are wood or logs that  help  fire  burn. There are lot of parents that eat away their new born sometimes, like cat ,  tiger and so on, but fire  is the only one that eats away it parents when born. As soon as  a  wood  is  put on fire , it burns the wood  immediately, This  is  compared to  the  salmon  fishes. Salmon    fishes are born  in  the  river  and travel to the
sea,  100’s    and   thousands   of  miles
where they spend  time to nourish their body. One they  wanted to lay egg they track   back  to   the  place  where  they were  born  and  try  swimming against the flow  of  water , eventually  forcing through  tough terrains. They hold their breath  till  they  reach their destination for  laying   egg  and  after  which  they sacrifices  themselves.  Once  the  eggs are hatched they  feed  on  the  flesh  of their  parents.  This  is  the  comparison done to Agni on this contest.
It is not only in Hinduism that we lit  a lamp or candle for our prayers but also  in other  religions. This depts. it is through   Agni   all   prayers  are  made reached    to   the   almighty .  When   a burning  lamp, gets  off  by  its own , it is   considered    as   bad   omen.    This according to Veda are conveyed as that the  fire  god  or  Agni  doesn’t  wish to take ones prayer to the god.

Vedic Seasons:(Yajurveda).(48’’ X 24’’)

The Art shows during Vedic times, a learned person  had  good  knowledge  of  seasons.  There  are six seasons  described  in  Veda  as  Summer,  Winter,  Rainy, Autumn,  Dewy,  and  Snow.  People  during  Vedic times knew  these  seasons  with  the  kind of birds that flock  in that  area  during  different seasons. By having to see bird called   kapingalas,  it   was   know  to be  the   starting  of Summer.  Similarly  sparrows  indicate  winter,  patridges indicate  rainy  season, Bird  vikaras  indicate  Snow,  and Kakaras  arrival  indicates  Dewy  seasons.  Thus Seasons were tracked well during the Vedic times

Indo-Aryan civilization, The Veda on Canvas:
The Vedas are perhaps the oldest written text on our planet  earth, today.  They  date  back  to the beginning of Indian civilization  and  are  the  earliest   literary  records  of  the whole Aryan race. They are  supposed to have been passed through  oral  tradition  for  over  100 thousand years. They came  to us in written form between 4,000 - 6,000 years ago.
With  the  most  powerful  and  ultimate truth written way  back  in  Vedas,  the  artist  had  tried his strokes on to make  some  of these wise sayings into the art form(Painting). Each of the Hymns taken has  lots of meaning to convey, and the one my   little  brain  could   visualize   these   sacred   writing   is presented   to   you   in   the   Modern  art  form  in  this  21st Century. The  aim  of  the  artist  is also to spread awareness of the forgotten  sacred  text. Hymns from Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda  and  Atharva  Veda  are  taken up for expression. Also Topics on Africa are taken to be exhibited  through www.artonlinesales.com.
Each of the Hymns taken are described on what  has       to be conveyed in one of the many forms available.

Ray Radiation:( 33’’ X 42’’)

The Ray Radiation depts. different radiation in the environment . When one looks up the sky through    the  woods,  the  sky  is  filled  with  all kind of radiations  due  to  a  lot’s  of technological enhancements that   had   evolved  during   the   course  of   time.  These radiations  have  made  life  difficult  to  live  in,  which is shown with the help of Birds that find difficulty in having their flight established successfully.
The trees shown are also seen without leaves    which    resulted   due   to   high  radiation   from different equipments like  Microwave, Mobile, Television, Radio and so on to  add  the list. Thus all lives in this new world find  difficulties  to have a life lead with this  ray of radiations,  there  by  diminishing   the  Ray  of  Hope  for survival.
